I grew up watching my mom change a room around every 6 months or so. It's no surprise I picked up the same habit. During childhood, my friends would come over and find I had rearranged my room yet again, since our last slumber party. Guilty as charged, I love changing things up!
In the past few years everything home decor has transitioned into what we know as"Farmhouse" style. If you type farmhouse into any social media platform, it's absolutely saturated with content. The brass iron beds, the knitted throw pillows, and the apron front sinks; all very cute. Occasionally, I see this style accompanied with some pops of color, but mostly its a gray palette. As much as I loved my last bedroom, which was gray, with silver accents and black furniture, I know its time for a change.
Naturally I took to Pinterest, and have been scrolling through it for the past several weeks until I finally I came across my inspiration.
I adore this bedroom makeover by Glass of Bovino. From the wall color, to the mustard curtains, and the gorgeous headboard. What I love about this room, is it feels like two styles brought together. Perfect for my personality, especially when it comes to home decor, I don't exactly fit into one category. This room feels like Parisian chic with a dash of Anglo-American elegance.
With only 2.5 weeks left before our house remodel is complete, I have been scouring the internet to find similar decor. Here's what I found:
